Bio

Ivan Kasik received his MS degree in technology of silicates in 1986 from Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague. He received his PhD degree in the same field in 1995. He is currently a senior research scientist at the INstitute of Photonics and electronics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Materials for the preparation of optical fibers, methods of preparation and characterization of fibers belong to his research interest.
