Itzhak Lior

Itzhak Lior received the B.Sc. degree in physics and geology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, in 2013, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in seismology from Tel-Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. From 2019 to 2021, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Géoazur Laboratory, Université Côte d’Azur, Nice, France. In 2021, he joined the Institute of Earth Sciences, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as a Senior Lecturer. His research interests include distributed acoustic sensing for earthquake and ambient noise monitoring, earthquake early warning, ground motion prediction and earthquake source parameter inversion.
