Aizpuru, I.

Iosu Aizpuru received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, Mondragón, Spain, in 2006, 2009, and 2015, respectively. He was with the Electronics Department, University of Mondragon in 2015, where he currently a Lecturer and Researcher in the topic of power electronics. The main objective of his research is to study new solutions for the maximization of the energy efficiency for the next generation energy transition. During his research life, he has supervised five Ph.D. students, he has authored and coauthored 14 JCR journal and more than 40 conference publications, and he has developed three patent proposals. His current research interests include power electronics electro-thermal modeling, optimization of high frequency magnetics, and development of energy storage coupled power electronic solutions.
