His subsequent postgraduate training in Cardiology and subspecialty training in Cardiac Imaging was at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Dr Hunyor's primary clinical and research interests include the application of novel imaging methods to help with the early detection and monitoring of cardiac disease. He developed an interest in cardiac imaging as a powerful tool to non-invasively interrogate the heart's structure, function and biochemistry. He is experienced in all aspects of multimodal cardiac imaging including echocardiography (TOE & TTE), CT coronary angiography and Cardiac MRI. All modalities are utilised for active clinical research projects.
