Illsoo Sohn received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2003, 2005, and 2009, respectively. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Wireless Networking and Communication Group, University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, USA, from 2009 to 2010. He worked as a Senior Research Engineer with the Advanced Communication Technology Research Laboratory, LG Electronics, Seoul, from 2010 to 2012. He worked as a Network Design Engineer with the Network Strategy Department, KT, Seoul, from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2017, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics Engineering, Gachon University, Seongnam, South Korea. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Seoul National University of Science & Technology, Seoul. His current research interests include statistical inference, message-passing algorithms, massive MIMO, and IoT healthcare.
