I have originally majored in physics. When I first came to Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT), I was the first physicist and also first computational researcher in KRICT. To be honest, it was good to be able to work home at first. When I worked on computer programming myself for master thesis, it was interesting. After getting married and starting to study abroad, I took more interest in computer simulation research for practical reasons such as parenting. Incidentally, there were quite a few female scientists who chose the computational research for similar reasons as me at that time.
