Huan Xu

Huan Xu (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA, in 2007, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA, in 2008 and 2013, respectively. She joined the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2013, where she is currently an Associate Professor of aerospace engineering with a joint appointment at the Institute for Systems Research and a member of the Maryland Robotics Center. Her research interests include controls and dynamical systems, safety certification for autonomous systems, and multi-agent control. Dr. Xu is a member of AIAA, AUVSI, and INCOSE.
