Hiroshi YAMADA

Hiroshi Yamada received the Ph.D. degree in engineering from The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1987. He was a Research Associate with the Institute of Plasma Physics, Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, from 1987 to 1989. He joined the National Institute for Fusion Science, Gifu, Japan, in 1989 and became an Associate Professor in 1995. He has concurrently been an Associate Professor with the Graduate University for Advanced Studies, since 2001. Dr. Yamada is a member of The American Physical Society, The Physical Society of Japan, and The Japan Society of Plasma Science and Nuclear Fusion Research.
