Hesham Marei is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is affiliated to the Faculty of Dentistry, Suez Canal University, Egypt. He is currently working as the Dean of College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, UAE. Dr. Marei received his Master (2003) and Doctoral (2008) Degrees in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Suez Canal University, Egypt. He has completed his clinical training at Cardiff Dental School, University Hospital of Wales, UK, and obtained his Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in London, 2006. Dr. Marei obtained another Master Degree in medical education in 2012, he has also concluded in 2018 his Doctoral Degree in medical education at Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
