个人简介
Han Zuilhof is Chair of Organic Chemistry at Wageningen University in the Netherlands, and is an expert on Organic Surface Chemistry. His research concentrates on making new bio-active molecules and novel methodologies for the covalent attachment of such bio-active molecules to surfaces, the characterization of thus modified surfaces by a variety of surface-sensitive techniques, and the application thereof towards specifically biologically relevant topics. With a background in originally physical organic chemistry, his current research group (typically 35+ FTE) focuses on fundamental and applicable topics in organic surface chemistry and a range of biological sciences, including a range of improved diagnostics techniques. He has published > 150 peer-reviewed papers, 8 patents, and is co-founder of a company that focuses on application and valorization of surface functionalization, SurfiX.
