Hamid Behravan received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the School of Computing, University of Eastern Finland, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He leads a team of AI researchers as a Senior Researcher with the Cancer Research Team, Department of Pathology, University of Eastern Finland. From 2017 to 2021, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar with the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Pathology and Forensic Medicine, University of Eastern Finland. His research interests include the development of machine and deep learning algorithms for personalized medicine in breast cancer, cancer risk prediction, and patient outcome modeling.
