个人简介
I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard University. I am also a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Fairfield University. Prior to that, I was a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Postdoc in the Department of Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis.
My research areas include data mining, machine learning and bioinformatics. My research focuses on developing novel machine learning algorithms for analyzing complex data, ranging from clinical data, time series data, biological data, to large-scale networks. I have been applying my research to real-world applications, including large-scale optimization for social network analysis and computational approaches for bioinformatics. A new surge of my current and future research interests includes developing network representation learning algorithms for biological networks and combining machine learning with decision-making for healthcare.
