Dr. Chen Haixu received the M.S. degree in pathology and pathophysiology and the Ph.D degree in regenerative medicine. Now, he was an Associate Professor in the Laboratory of Translational Medicine, Chinese PLA General Hospital, Beijing, China. Currently, He is deputy director of the Institute of Geriatris, Chief Director of the disease and health management platform and principal investigator of the Regenerative Medicine and Geriatris research group. His research includes the cell/gene therapy, regenerative medicine advanced therapy in neurodegenerative disease, type 1/2 diabetes, diabetic nephropathy, inflammatory bowel disease, progeria, and cancer. Dr. Chen’s awards and honors include Beijing Innovative Star of Science and Technology, the outstanding Military Professionals Program, Vice Chairman of Translational medicine branch of Chinese Medicine Quality Management Association, the a contributor and review expert of China Science Communication, a publication of the China Association for Science and Technology.
