Hyoung-Suk Kim

Hyoung-Suk Kim (Member, IEEE) was born in South Korea, in 1981. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Pusan National University, Pusan, in 2007, and the integrated M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 2013. He is currently a Senior Researcher with the Electrophysics Research Center, Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI), Changwon, South Korea. In 2020, he became an Associate Professor with the Department of Energy Conversion Technology, University of Science and Technology, Daejeon. His research interests include power electronics including power converters, high-voltage power systems for industrial applications, and digital control of power conversion circuits.
