个人简介
Gurdeep Rattu completed the B.Sc. degree from Delhi University in microbiology. In 2012,
he joined Department of Microbiology, University College of Medical Sciences as a Trainee
Microbiologist. In 2013, he joined Department of Microbiology with University of Delhi South
Campus for Post-Graduation (M.Sc.), completed in 2015. He has worked in gene amplification,
cloning, protein expression studies, where he developed a recombinant bifunctional cellulasexylanse
enzyme from polyextremophilic bacteria for saccharification of agro-residues. He is
currently submitted the Ph.D. thesis in food-nanotechnology with his focus being development
of label-free sensors for food safety and quality analysis from National Institute of Food
Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), deemed to be University, under the
Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India. His research interests include
microbiology, materials science, food nanotechnology, molecular biology, optical sensors and
biosensors.
