Guillermo Requena

I am appointed as Head of the Department of Metals and Hybrid Materials at the German Aerospace Centre and hold the chair of Metallic Structures and Materials Systems for Aerospace at the RWTH-Aachen. My research areas include: - Microstructure-Properties relationships in structural light materials, e.g. Al- Mg- Ti- TiAl-alloys. - Additive manufacturing of metals. - 3D-imaging and diffraction techniques to investigate materials under manufacturing and service conditions.
