I am a physician with a PhD degree in Biomedical Informatics and over 20 years of experience in health care informatics. I am interested in the design, development, evaluation and dissemination of clinical informatics and clinical decision support (CDS) interventions to improve the quality, safety, and value of health care. I am especially interested in the integration of medical evidence resources with electronic health record (EHR) systems to help clinicians and patients find answers to clinical questions. I am also interested in the development and implementation of health IT standards to promote wide dissemination of CDS interventions across health care organizations and EHR platforms.
