Girolamo Mincuzzi

Girolamo Mincuzzi received the Graduate degree in physics from the University of Bari, Bari, Italy, in 2005. His research was focused on monitoring of the low troposphere by Li.d.a.r. technique at the Department of Physics, Naples University, Naples, Italy, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata,” Rome, Italy. He was a fellow at I.N.O.A.–C.N.R. of Pozzuoli (Na) in the framework of the project “Lacer” for the development of a high-power ceramic laser. He also collaborated with the I.N.O.A. team for the study and characterization of DFG Gaussian Beams @ 3micron. As a Laser Designer, he was with the Centre for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy (CHOSE) Group, developing innovative, laser-assisted fabrication processes for Dye Solar Cell manufacturing. He was a Visiting Scientist with the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (Aachen, Germany) and an external consultant with the Industrial Consortium Dyepower. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the framework of the project “Sinead” (FP7, Mat-Era+ funding Scheme) for the sintering via laser of nc-TiO2 films over flexible substrates and Tenure Track of the CHOSE Group for flexible dye-sensitized solar cell device development. He has authored more than 10 scientific publications and has three patents.
