Olivier Gimenez

My main research topic is the study of animal demography in natura. I focus on issues in ecology with the impact of climate change and human pressures on population dynamics, in evolutionary ecology with the action of natural selection and life-history traits and in conservation biology with the management of large mammals. Recently, I've become interested in human-wildlife conflicts and how interdisciplinary modelling approaches can contribute to the coexistence of humans and animals.
