Bio
Dr. Doumy is a Physicist in the Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics Group in the Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division. His current research interests include following the ultrafast dynamics induced by light or x-ray absorption in atoms and molecules. Using both synchrotron and x-ray free electron laser facilities, his expertise is in developing new spectroscopy techniques to follow the first steps of photochemical reactions by measuring changes in electronic and structural configurations.
