Gheorghe Dinescu

Gheorghe Dinescu currently works at the Laboratory of Low Temperature Plasma, National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics. Current research interests are: -Nanomaterials made by plasma (carbon nanowalls, vertical graphene, metallic nanoparticles, hybrid nanomaterials) and their use for energy devices, biological surfaces, tribological layers; -Plasma sources at low and atmospheric pressure, cold jets; -Plasma processing in gas phase or by plasma in liquid (graphene, CNW, nanocellose) ; -Functionalization, cleaning and nanostructuration of surfaces; -Thin film deposition (polymer layers, metallic layers,..) -Thin film composite membranes (nuclear track membranes modification and coating by plasma); -Textile processing; - Plasma facing components in fusion technology.
