个人简介
Gerald T. Orlob, 88, of Poulsbo, passed away on March 23, 2013. Gerald was born on July 4, 1924 in Seattle to Axel and Margaret (Champlain) Orlob. He graduated from Shoreline High School in Seattle and went on to honorably serve his county during World War II in the Army, concluding his service as a sergeant. Gerald went on to the University of Washington and received his Phd from Stanford University. Gerald used his education as a civil engineer for 40 years. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the UC Davis Engineering Department.
Beyond his accomplishments in engineering, Gerald also loved the mountains and rivers and took many trips backpacking and hiking, as well as, fly fishing.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lillian; but his memory will live on with his sons, Ken, Curt and Mark; and daughters, Kathleen Corley and Colette Markham.
