Besides the academic and teaching duties, Esposito has always been working and is still active in the field of NMR spectroscopy and biopolymer biophysics. In particular, he has been involved in the structural and functional characterization of immunoactive peptides, oligonucleotides, proteins, transcription factors and amyloidogenic proteins, coupled to the setup of new NMR methods. He authored about 150 publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
