Geir Halnes

Researcher in the Computational Neuroscience group at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. My brain research has been focused on the fundamental physical processes that govern brain dynamics. I am interested in the multi-scale aspect of neuroscience, and have worked with models of neuronal processes at various spatial scales. My published works have been on (1) signalling cascades in small intracellular sub-compartments, (2) biophysically detailed models of single neurons, (3) neuronal network simulations, and (4) mathematical formalism and simulations of electrodiffusive processes at the level of brain tissue.
