Having earned his doctorate at Monash University, Gavin's research interests include ways to foster high quality types of motivation and well-being in workplace and education settings, with a focus on job crafting, leadership, personality, and employee health interventions, such as mindfulness and coaching. Gavin has published 3 books and over 25 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters focusing on these areas. Prior to beginning his role at the University, Gavin worked in management consulting.
