I have extensive hands-on experience in cryo electron microscopy and novel image processing tools. I am responsible for operation of one of the electron microscopes in the lab I am currently working in, and for the training of new users. My work is building upon previous research on protein structure and conformational dynamics on the single molecule level. I am interested in the interaction of protein systems with membranes and the high throughput structures determination of membrane proteins.
