My area of expertise is nutrition, low birth weight, diarrheal disease, and infection including the therapeutic and preventive interactions between micronutrients and infectious disease (diarrheal disease, pneumonia), malnutrition, and low birth weight. My experience is both as an investigator and director of programs in child and maternal health and nutrition case management, community-based public health, program monitoring and evaluation, and operations and programmatic research.
