Fuhua Yang

Dr. Fuhua Yang obtained his PhD degree under the supervision of Prof. Zaiping Guo in December 2020 at the Institute for Superconducting and Electronic Materials, University of Wollongong, Australia. Then, Fuhua worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow under the supervision of Prof. Zaiping Guo at the University of Wollongong and the University of Adelaide, Australia, from January 2021 to November 2022. After that, from December 2022, Fuhua joined Helmholtz Institute of Ulm (HIU) in Germany as a Humboldt Research Fellow in Prof. Stefano Passerini and Dr. Alberto Varzi’s group. He specializes in developing high energy-density rechargeable battery technologies, especially aqueous Zn ion batteries. Dr. Fuhua Yang has accumulated rich experience in developing advanced batteries through the innovative materials design with advanced fabrication techniques and mechanism studies by combining multiple ex-situ/in-situ techniques and theoretical simulation.
