Frederik J de de Lange

Brief biography: Frederik de Lange is a cardiologist with special interests in general cardiology / cardiac devices and diagnosing / treating patients with syncope. After his PhD on the cardiac conducting system he did his specialization in the Amsterdam University Medical Center in Amsterdam. He is head of the syncope unit which is tertiary outpatient clinic facility which is part of the cardiology department and head of the outpatient cardiology department. He was involved as a Taskforce member writing the 2018 ESC Guidelines on Syncope. His main research project at the moment is the Fainting Assesment Study (FAST), a research line to analyse the clinical benefit of specialized syncope units and implemetation of the ESC guidelines on syncope.
