Frederico Gerlinger-Romero

The general focus of my research has been on skeletal muscle physiology specifically muscle contraction, metabolism, and endocrinology. My main research has been on skeletal muscle physiology and metabolism as well as genes and microRNAs involved in mechanisms of synthesis and degradation of proteins in skeletal muscle. Over the last few years, I have been teaching human physiology for undergraduate courses and teaching for all different physiology subjects for postgraduate students.
