Frederic Simonin currently works at the Biotechnologie et Signalisation Cellulaire, UMR7242, French National Centre for Scientific Research. Frederic Simonin is recognized for its expertise in the field of GPCRs and particularly in molecular biology and pharmacology of opioid and related peptide receptors. Since 2005, he has been working on adaptations following chronic stimulation of GPCRs and particularly the development of hyperalgesia following opiates chronic administration or in chronic pain syndromes. His most recent publication is 'Morphine-induced hyperalgesia involves mu opioid receptors and the metabolite morphine-3-glucuronide.'
