个人简介
Francesco is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University. The main aspects of his research regard emerging cooling techniques for improving performance and reliability of multicore processors. He received the M.S. degree (summa cum laude) in electrical engineering from Università di Roma La Sapienza in 2007 and the Ph.D. degree in electronics, computer sciences and telecommunications from Alma Mater Università di Bologna in 2012. In his Ph.D. thesis titled "Variability-tolerant High-reliability Multicore Platforms" he proposes runtime adaptive techniques to mitigate the impact of process variations and wear-out in multicore processor system on chips in terms of performance, energy consumption and lifetime. His works have been published in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. He has been visiting researcher at Brown University in 2011 and intern at STMicroelectronis Milan and Grenoble in 2009 and 2010 respectively. He has been involved in EU FP7 Projects such as REALITY, PRO3D, MULTITHERMAN and VIRTICAL.
