个人简介
Francesca Apollonio was born in Rome, Italy, in 1968. She received the Electronic Engineering degree and Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering and from the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” Rome, Italy, in 1994. and 1998, respectively.
She began her research in the area of bioelectromagnetics in 1994 with experimental dosimetry techniques. In 2000, she became an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Rome “La Sapienza.” Her research interests regard the interaction between EM fields and biological systems following both a theoretical and an experimental approach, in particular, she is involved in molecular dynamic studies, modeling the mechanism of interaction, dosimetry techniques, and exposure system design.
Dr. Apollonio was the recipient of a 1995 Fellowship presented by the Non-Ionizing Radiation Laboratory, ENEA Research Center, Rome, Italy, on design and characterization of electric-field probes.
