个人简介
FNU Nishanth (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) is a native of Mangalore, India. He received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering in 2020 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison), Madison, WI, USA, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering.
Between 2016 and 2018, he was a Research Scholar with the Machines and Drives Laboratory, Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, Chennai, India, supported by the GATE fellowship from the Government of India. Since 2018, he has been a Research Assistant with the Wisconsin Electric Machines and Power Electronics Consortium (WEMPEC), UW-Madison. In 2021, he pursued a research internship with the Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, Cambridge, MA, USA. His research interests include electric machine design, power electronics, and motor control, with a focus on power-dense designs.
Mr. Nishanth is a recipient of the best electrical engineering project of the year 2015 award from the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and the Wisconsin Power Engineering Award from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022.
