Fiona LeBeau currently works at the Biosciences Institute, Newcastle University. Her lab investigates the cellular and network mechanisms that underlie the generation and modulation of cortical network oscillations. She uses in vitro and in vivo techniques, combined with behavioural studies and immunohistochemistry, to understand changes in network oscillations in relation to conditions such as schizophrenia and epilepsy and neurodegenerative disorders including Lewy body dementia.
