Felix Haase

Felix Haase received the Physics Diploma degree in absorbers for thin-film copper indium selenide solar cells by fluid phase processing from the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Erlangen, Germany, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree from the Institute for Solar Energy Research Hamelin, Emmerthal, Germany, in 2013. In his work, he developed and characterized backcontact back-junction thin-film monocrystalline silicon solar cells processed by the porous silicon process. Since 2012, he has been a Project Leader with the group of Dr. M. Köntges, focusing on photovoltaic module reliability under thermomechanical stress. In this project, he analyzes the origin and impact of cell cracks on the power output of photovoltaic modules. Since 2016, he has been leading a project with the focus of passivating contacts for high-efficiency solar cells in the group of Dr. R. Peibst.
