Fei Chen is now a lecturer in College of Computer Science and Engineering, Shenzhen University, China. He was born in 1986, Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, China. He grew up slowly, quietly and happily in his hometown in Jianhu where he received the primary and secondary school education, made a lot of friends and met some great guys who influenced him considerably. Later in 2004, he went to college in Chongqing, a lovely city very far from his hometown, a city where he spent almost 7 years to get the bachelor and master degrees in computer science and engineering, and a city that he will miss all the time. During 2009 and 2010, he also worked as an intern in the State Key Laboratory of Information Security in Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Science, and a research associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. Later, he spent three years in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and obtained a PhD degree in 2014. His supervisor is Prof. Shengyu Zhang. He also visited the distributed system group of Vienna University of Technology in 2014 before he finally settled down in Shenzhen University, China.
