He gives courses mainly about wireless networks (e.g. Wi-Fi, wireless sensor networks), cellular networks (e.g. 2G, 3G, 4G) and networking (e.g. TCP/IP, LAN, mobility management, routing protocols) in the Telecommunications department. He also gave courses on autonomic networking, and on performance evaluation tools applied to networking and telecommunications (e.g. Markov chains, queueing theory, simulation tools).
His research interests are in the area of dynamic, dense and autonomous wireless networks (e.g. networks for IoT, wireless sensor networks, wireless mobile ad hoc networks). More particularly, his research works are focused on networking protocols design and performance evaluation. He is co-author of 3 chapter books, 110+ international publications and he holds 4 international patents.
