I study fish life history strategies in relation to the environmental, natural and anthropogenic constraints they encounter. The aim is to understand how the phenotypic plasticity and genotypic adaptability of a species allow it to adapt to variable environmental characteristics, and what are the mechanisms (genetic, physiological, behavioural) involved in the observed adaptive responses.
