Since more than 15 years she has been one of the leading figures in the CMS experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In the coming years, scientists expect from new results at the LHC to answer fundamental questions that should provide a better understanding of the structure of the universe and the underlying mechanisms that governs its evolution after the Big Bang.
