Fiona M. Lyng

Professor Fiona Lyng holds a BSc from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD from University College Dublin. She is Head of the Radiation and Environmental Science Centre (https://www.tudublin.ie/research/discover-our-research/research-institutes-centres-and-groups/resc/, @RESC_TU_Dublin) in Technological University Dublin. Her research is focussed on cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment and has been funded by the EU (Horizon2020, FP7, FP6), Science Foundation Ireland, Health Research Board, Irish Research Council and Enterprise Ireland. She has published >140 peer reviewed journal papers, has a h index of 44 and >6200 citations. She has supervised 32 PhD students to completion and mentored 12 postdoctoral researchers.
