Francisco C Sa Barreto

Graduated in Physics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2010), he became a Master in Science by the postgraduate program of the Physics and Chemistry of Materials at the Federal University of São João Del Rei (2014), working with the synthesis and characterization by magnetic and structural properties of the antiferromagnetic intermetallic compounds RCu (R= Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho and Er). He became a doctor of science by the same program (2019) carrying out theoretical studies of the magnetic behavior of ferromagnetic nanostructures with tubular geometry through classical spin models, applying approximate methods (mean-field approximation and effective field theory), rigorous results and Monte Carlo simulations. He is also a technician in the physics laboratories of the Department of Natural Sciences on the Federal University of São João del Rei, working in the teaching physics laboratories and with crystallographic characterizations by X-ray diffraction at constant wavelength.
