My research program is focused on improving the health, performance, and reproduction of dairy cows. One of the current projects is the 'Role of Nerve growth factor-Beta on cattle reproductive efficiency', on which we are dissecting the interactions of this seminal plasma protein with cows ovulation, luteal development, maternal recognition of pregnancy, and fertility. Another project is focused on deciphering the interaction of cows genome and rumen microbiome modulating productivity.
