Bio
Erwan Paineau obtained his Ph.D in January 2011 (University of Loraine, 2 Ph.D awards), followed with two postdoctoral fellowships at Laboratoire de Physique des Solides (LPS, 2011-2012) and CEA Saclay (NIMBE, 2012-2013), respectively. Since December 2013, he is a Research Associate (CR2 CNRS) in the team “Matière et Rayonnement” of LPS. He conduct the synthesis, chemical modification and self-organization of metal-oxide nanotubes (imogolite) and clay nanoplatelets.
He is a specialist of X-ray scattering, infrared and neutron spectroscopies applied to confinement inside nanostructures (e.g. carbon and metal-oxide nanotubes) on laboratory setups and large facilities.
