I am working on how to use Earth observations (satellite data and models) for anticipatory action and risk financing (forecast-based early action, forecast based financing, index insurance) to reduce risk to disasters. I work with SERVIR - a vibrant network of people and institutions in the Americas, Africa, and Asia, who build capacity to use Earth observations for sustainable resource management, disaster risk reduction, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and sustainable development.
