Elizabeth S. Stevens

Elizabeth S. Stevens completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago under the mentorship of Evelyn Behar (Hunter College, CUNY) and Stewart A. Shankman (Northwestern University). She completed her doctoral internship and is completing her postdoctoral fellowship at the VA Puget Sound - Seattle. Her research and clinical interests include cognitive, behavioral, and psychophysiological (EMG startle, ERP, EEG, HRV) risk factors for anxiety and trauma-related disorders, particularly those related to inflexible responding on these levels. She is also interested in examining mechanisms and outcomes of treatments for anxiety disorders.
