My research is focused on: Building energy modelling and design for retrofit; Development, optimization and assessment of building components and materials; use of multi-sensorial virtual environments for the assessment of human comfort, wellbeing and behaviour in buildings; Buildings and urban climate mitigation solutions; Development of stochastic and multi-optimization methods for building design and assessment; economic and environmental assessment of buildings energy efficiency solutions.
