个人简介
I am an assistant professor at the department of Media Technology and Interaction Design (MID) at the school of Computer Science and Communication. I am affiliated with Green Leap and CESC (Centre for Sustainable Communication). and my areas of interest are sustainability and human-computer interaction (S-HCI), and ICT for sustainability.
Technology and its interplay with society have always fascinated me, and I am driven in my research to explore how technology in general, and computing in particular can aid in the transition to a more sustainable world. Hence change, and change of practice, has been a focal point in my research, from my doctoral studies up until now.
I defended my thesis Situated Reflexive Change - User-centred Design in(to) Practice in February 2013 at KTH, but have also been working at Uppsala University during my PhD-studies.
I am part of the MID sustainability team - MID4S, and is acting as its vice team leader and I write semi-regularly on our team blog: https://mid4s.wordpress.com.
Current Projects
I am the project manager and researcher on in the project Collaborative sharing, which is a sub-project to ICTUS - ICT for Urban Sustainability, at CESC. The aim of Collaborative Sharing is to research critical factors for initiating and sustaining sharing initiatives. In particular, the sub-project aims at exploring the role of the municipality as well as the role of ICT as a tool in sharing resources. The sub-project is particularly interested in sharing initiatives with a positive environmental impact.
Gestaltning av framtidens energiomställning ur ett användarperspektiv (User-centred images of the future energy transition) is a project financed by the Swedish Energy Agency, where I am the project manager. The project, which is situated at Green Leap, aims at eliciting people’s images of the future, especially in relation to energy security. We want to lay bare these images in order to discuss possible underlying barriers to a more sustainable lifestyle. We plan to use design workshops together with different stakeholder groups, both workshops where we use trigger material (utopian and dystopian) in order to elicit views of the future as well as workshops where the participants will work more freely with imageries.
