个人简介
Eli Vlaisavljevich completed his graduate degrees in the Histotripsy Lab, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, from 2010 to 2015. He received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Michigan, in 2015.
He is an Assistant Professor of biomedical engineering and mechanics at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA, USA. His research interests include focused ultrasound, noninvasive tissue ablation (HIFU, histotripsy), cavitation physics, nanoparticle-mediated histotripsy (NMH), biomaterials, tissue regeneration, cancer, noninvasive neuromodulation, and clinical translation. After his graduate degrees, he spent two years working at HistoSonics, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, from 2015 to 2017, on the development of histotripsy for the treatment of liver cancer.
