个人简介
She is also a nationally certified and licensed speech-language pathologist. Her lab supports behavioral and neuroimaging studies of language and learning. Her basic research program focuses on the nature of learning in normal and impaired individuals. Her translational research focuses on improvement of treatment methods for developmental language impairment, as well as the development of improved assessment measures. She is the co-author of thee published assessment batteries. Her work has been funded through grants from the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, and the Institute for Educational Science. She has published over 100 journal articles and a popular introductory text book in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
